Welcome to OnlineTeflJob.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and OnlineTeflJob Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the OnlineTeflJob.com website, including all associated content, features, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing, browsing, or otherwise interacting with OnlineTeflJob.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not accept all provisions of this agreement, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
You affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Nature and Scope of the Platform
OnlineTeflJob.com operates as an online job board and informational resource dedicated to the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) industry. The Platform provides the following core services:
- Job Listings — A curated board of online and remote English teaching positions submitted by schools, language centres, tutoring platforms, and individual employers.
- Community Q&A — A question-and-answer forum where TEFL teachers and prospective teachers can share knowledge, seek guidance, and discuss industry topics.
- TEFL Resources — Guides, articles, and reference materials covering certification pathways, teaching methodologies, and career development for online English educators.
- Certification Directory — An informational listing of TEFL course providers, programme comparisons, and accreditation details to help teachers choose appropriate training.
The Platform serves solely as a conduit connecting TEFL professionals with potential employers. OnlineTeflJob Ltd is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, employer of record, or educational institution. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any listing, nor do we participate in hiring decisions or employment relationships formed through the Platform.
3. Accounts, Listings, and Community Participation
3.1 Job Posting Standards
Employers who submit job listings to the Platform agree to the following requirements:
- All listings must contain accurate, current, and complete information regarding the position, compensation, qualifications, and working conditions.
- Listings must not contain discriminatory language or preferences based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or nationality, except where legally mandated by the jurisdiction of employment.
- Job descriptions must not be misleading, exaggerated, or designed to deceive applicants about the true nature of the role.
- Listings must not include external URLs, email addresses, or contact details within the job description field. Contact information must be submitted through the designated form fields only.
3.2 Q&A and Community Conduct
Participants in the Community Q&A section agree to the following:
- Contributions must be relevant, substantive, and made in good faith to assist fellow community members.
- Spam, repetitive posts, promotional content, and affiliate links are strictly prohibited.
- Users must not post external URLs, personal contact information, or solicit other members to communicate outside the Platform for the purpose of circumventing these Terms.
- Impersonation of other individuals, brands, or organizations is forbidden.
3.3 Content Moderation
OnlineTeflJob Ltd reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, edit, remove, or decline to publish any content submitted to the Platform, including job listings, Q&A contributions, and any other user-generated material, without prior notice and without obligation to provide a reason.
4. Obligations of Employers
Any individual or organization that posts a job listing on the Platform ("Employer") accepts the following obligations:
- Accuracy of Descriptions — Every listing must faithfully represent the duties, expectations, and conditions of the position. Fabricated or embellished role descriptions are not permitted.
- Truthful Compensation Data — Salary ranges, hourly rates, bonus structures, and payment schedules must reflect genuine, enforceable offers. Bait-and-switch compensation practices will result in immediate removal.
- Timely Communication — Employers are expected to acknowledge receipt of applications and provide reasonable updates to candidates within a commercially reasonable timeframe, generally no longer than ten (10) business days.
- Prohibition on Fraudulent Activity — The Platform must not be used for phishing, data harvesting, identity theft, advance-fee scams, pyramid schemes, or any other deceptive or unlawful purpose.
OnlineTeflJob Ltd reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any Employer account found to be in breach of these obligations, and to cooperate with law enforcement where fraudulent activity is suspected.
5. Obligations of Job Seekers
Individuals who use the Platform to search for, browse, or apply to job listings ("Job Seekers") accept the following responsibilities:
- Honest Representation — All personal information, qualifications, certifications, work history, and credentials provided in applications or profiles must be accurate and verifiable. Misrepresentation of TEFL certificates, degrees, or teaching experience is prohibited.
- Protection of Employer Information — Contact details, internal documents, or proprietary information obtained from an Employer through the Platform must not be disclosed publicly, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than the application process.
- Good-Faith Applications — Job Seekers should apply only to positions for which they meet the stated minimum qualifications. Mass-application tactics or applications submitted without genuine interest in the role undermine the integrity of the Platform.
- Credential Integrity — Forging, altering, or misrepresenting TEFL certificates, academic transcripts, reference letters, or any professional documentation is strictly prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including their formation, validity, breach, or termination, shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). The seat of arbitration shall be London, England. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The tribunal shall consist of one (1) arbitrator.
11.3 Class Action Waiver
